 Join the Grimes County Democratic Party as an active and participating Democrat. Our most basic task is to do the grassroots work and to Get Out The Vote (GOTV). A lot can be accomplished with only a few hours’ work, and the effort is very rewarding. You will get to meet lots of good folks who are involved in the Democratic Party.
Precinct Executive Commitee Members help develop the Grimes County Democratic Party Platform. The focus is on electing good officials to all positions in Grimes County government.
Be a member of a Precinct Team that includes the Precinct Chair, Precinct Voting Judge, and Precinct Executive Committee. The team works to recruit good candidates and, on occasion, has a say in replacing officeholders when vacancies occur.
There are lots of good Democrats in Grimes County! If you join our efforts you will not be asked to convert Republicans or argue politics with strangers. Nor will you be asked to sell raffle tickets or work at bake sales! We want our volunteers to be focused on getting good Democrats elected to public office.
